How It Works

Pick Your Base

First, you choose what you want to make: a Squishy or a Slime Jar.

Choose a Filling

Then you decide which filling feels best - try our testers! Each one squishes, stretches, or keeps its shape in different ways.

Add Mix-Ins

Find your favorites at the mix-in station. No limits - the only rule is that it all has to fit in the cup we give you.

Tie & Sign It

If you're making a Squishy, don't forget to pick your tie color - that's how it gets sealed. And each Slime Jar gets a Squish Labs "Designed By" sticker for your signature.

The finishing touch - pick a little resin character to take home with you.

The Menu

Squish Labs has a simple flat fee: for ten dollars, you get to design your very own Squishy or Slime Jar. And here's the best part - there isn't a limit on your mix-ins, only your imagination, and what fits inside.

Lab Tips

Traditional slime is a great blank canvas for all the mix-ins - start here if you want glitter, charms, color, or lots of tiny things. And if ASMR is your thing, loading it with tiny foam or plastic beads gives you that "crunch" effect.

Butter slime is for pressing, folding, and sculpting more than big stretches - it actually puffs up the more you play with it! It eats mix-ins, especially glitter, but the larger ones like wooden cubes or colorful gum drops do great in there.

For a seriously satisfying squeeze, try squish foam or kinetic sand. Both make great stress-ball fillings, with a little more resistance than slime.

If you want the quietest, most calming option in the lab, go with kinetic sand. Pack it, slice it, flatten it, crumble it, and start all over again.

Keep your slime away from heat and sun and play with clean, dry hands.

Nora's Story

"Hi! I'm Nora, and this is my company, Squish Labs - where you can design your own Squishy or Slime Jar."

Nora LOVES going to markets - she'd be there every weekend if she could. And she noticed something: kids get just as excited about market days as their parents do, but most of what's there is made for grown-ups.

So when the Young Entrepreneurs program at the Travelers Rest Farmers Market became a possibility, she had an idea: bring something she and her friends are already obsessed with and let kids make it their own. Squish Labs would be part product, part experience, and one more reason for kids to get excited about a trip to the market.

The Squish Labs booth, set up and ready before market #1 — Pre-market, right after setup - market #1, August 2026.

Squish Labs made its official debut in August 2026, and Nora served dozens of customers on her very first day.
